We all need a passion, mine is content.
to me, when people ask "why do you film so much" or "why do you edit every night",
it's same as if i were to ask "why do you eat food?" or "why do you breathe air".
i got my first flip video camera at nine years old.
i uploaded my first video to youtube at ten.
by twenty, my youtube had 10 million views and thousands of subscribers.
but!
content's never easy.
just with anything in life, it takes a lot of trial and error, and content creation is full of heartaches.
but that's what i love about it.
from having a million and one doors slammed in my face (and a million and one doors to go)
to making backup plans for my backup plans,
anything can happen in the world of content creation and that's what i love about it.
it's in large part
networking,
algorithm manipulation,
keywords,
obnoxious thumbnails,
fast-cut editing to maintain watchtime,
etc.
etc.
i can go on about the nitty-gritty of content creation all day- so i will!
on this page and its sister page of "tiktok algo 102" i'll highlight a little bit of that love and what made my content what it is.
where i went wrong. where i went right. where i will continue to go wrong.
and what you can do to go right every time!
if you're looking for someone who can say they know everything about content, you've come to the wrong place
in fact if you look at these videos you'll notice none of them have hit over 2000 views
but
to me content is more than just the views and ad money,
it's the love of the game and the thrill of the hunt.
our views might be low today,
but all those sleepless nights staying up editing and worrying about the future
will all be worth it when i finally get that million subscriber play button from youtube,
and then proceed to use said play button as a door stopper to my office.
hey, a boy can dream - right?
